Sidmouth International Folk Festival
Sidmouth International Folk Festival, for so many years a huge extravaganza is changing and will take place in a much smaller format from 2005 onwards. Reverting to the smaller festival of Sidmouth’s past will hopefully not diminish the enjoyment of the many thousands of expected visitors for the event. With the local camp sites (including the Bulverton fields) open as usual.

Space
The Norman Lockyer Observatory is located at the top of Sidmouths Salcombe hill, on the opposite side of the valley from Bulverton House Short Breaks (a five minute drive). Exeter
A little further afield from Sidmouth (15 miles) you find the Cathedral city of Exeter which has its own host of attractions, and makes a splendid day trip.

Exeter Airport
Located between Exeter and Sidmouth, Exeter’s own international airport has an ever expanding list of connections and flights both abroad and within the country. The Castle
