We stayed in the Orlando Cottage for 3 nights and had a lovely time. On arrival we were greeted by Chris who was very pleasant and welcoming, the welcoming scones and wine are a lovely touch. Accommodation cannot be faulted and is spotlessly clean throughout. Everything you need for a short break away is thought of. Chris & Ellen go out of their way to make sure you are looked after and are happy to recommend places to eat or areas to visit nearby. Will be recommending the Bulverton House cottages to family and friends and will definitely be returning for another break.

Can’t speak highly enough of our stay. Very high-standard accommodation. Cottage tastefully decorated for Christmas. High-quality bottle of wine, homemade scones, mince pies and chocolate money awaiting our arrival – and milk in the fridge! Parking plentiful, recycling easy, great layout of cottage, comfortable beds, everything immaculately organised. We loved it from start to finish and will be returning!

Bulverton House is a wonderful and most inviting modern property that feels ‘home from home’. It’s location is perfect for sightseeing around the beautiful attractions and coastline. We enjoyed a lovely stay and couldn’t fault a thing. This is our second time staying at this property and feel we will return again in the future.

We booked all three cottages for a family gathering and they were just perfect.
Cosy, clean and comfy with the best equipped kitchen and most amazing scones I have ever come across in a holiday cottage!
Chris greeted us on arrival and was obviously on hand if we needed anything, although everything was wonderful so we didn’t require any help.
The family are already discussing a return trip …

We would go back in a heart beat. The cottage was immaculately clean, we were given the warmest of welcomes. There are lovely modern touches and all the appliances are easy to use. Sidmouth town and beach front are just amazingly lovely. All the shops such good quality, especially the proper pasties,!! We joined the social dance one night and were made so welcome, watched a play, there is a cinema and a swimming pool and just sitting on the beach watching surfing was enough for a while too.

Right from booking the cottage we had excellent communication with Chris and Ellen. We were looking for somewhere with a sea view (no availability) but this was a brilliant compromise (and lucky find) as we could easily walk into the seafront as it was less than a 1 mile away. The cottage was absolutely beautiful; one of the nicest we have stayed in, and just what we were looking for in terms of size and amenities. It was exceptionally clean and well thought out with all mod-cons including a cosy electric fire. The enclosed garden was a great surprise, enjoyed by our dog!
